Founder & CEO

Rajat Bagaria

Rajat started Shrishti in 1996–97 and led it to IATA accreditation in 2006. Alongside running the company, he served the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) as an office bearer in several roles from 2007 to 2021. He was an active member of TAFI’s convention committee, serving as its Co-Chairman from 2015, and contributed to TAFI’s GST, JBGA and other committees.

He is also a co-founder of MTF Events, an independent company set up with two fellow agency owners, which organises the Melange travel trade exhibition.

Beyond Shrishti · an independent venture

MTF Events: reimagining how the travel trade meets.

MTF Events is an independent company founded by three Mumbai agency owners, Rajat among them. It began in 2023 as a friendly gathering to launch MTF Premier League Cricket for the travel trade.

Seeing trade exhibitions grow dull and dated, the group launched Melange in 2024. Its success made it an annual fixture, and Melange Select now takes the format to regional markets, alongside trade-focused formats such as Spark.
